Mabrook on the new camera. You made an excellent choice. Just one word of advice. If you've taken 1400 pictures and you still have 1gb left on your card then your camera's settings must be on a low resolution and you're not getting the full advantage of all those megapixels.

thanx muscati...about the resolution...in the settings i have chosen the 'fine ' quality all along..isn't that the best resolution?...if not then tell me please how to set it to the maximum...

but all pics are of normal size '640 x 480'..only few are of large size...
also i use the 'best shot' feature whenever i need to!...all the pics are wonderful and very clear..the pics i posted of Turkey are an example of that...


however i couldn’t seem to get the night scenes right of the cities, they seem blurred even when i used the 'best shot' feature..

Ok, that's what it is: it's the 640X480 size. If you are not planning to print or enlarge your pics or even see them full size on your computer screen or a tv, then it's ok. But if you're planning on any of the above then the size setting you have now is too small. Even if you don't want to enlarge your pics, 640 X 480 is restrictive because it doesn't allow you to crop much of your pics without losing resolution. I'd go for at least 1024 X 768, and probably even bigger.

although all the previous pics seem to be very clear in the pc but i just hope that i get a good printing quality of them...
